Drug addiction is a problem that is faced by many people all over the world. There are many different ways to treat drug addiction, and one of those ways is through behavioral therapy. Behavioral therapy is an effective treatment for drug addiction. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) recommends behavioral therapies as the first line of treatment for drug addiction. Behavioral therapies help people learn how to resist drugs and how to cope with triggers that may lead to drug use.

New England Behavioral Health Services Inc. (NEBHSI) offers behavioral therapy for drug addiction. The behavioral treatment program uses a combination of therapies based on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational incentives. Our Behavioral therapy for drug addiction is offered in a group setting to encourage peer support and reduce isolation. It also includes individual counseling sessions. Our treatment has been proven to be effective in reducing the risk of relapse for drug addiction.

Our Massachusetts addictions and mental health program has helped many individuals successfully recover from a substance use disorder. If you or a loved one has been struggling with substance use, please contact us to speak with one of our counselors.
